Story

I didn't take a straight path — and honestly, that's what gives me a different perspective.

I came to Switzerland as a student at EPFL, where I first discovered the power of combining engineering rigour with real-world problem solving. After graduating, I built my career in the private sector — designing secure, compliant IT infrastructure for financial institutions where precision, governance, and trust are non-negotiable.

After more than a decade in finance, I made a deliberate move into public higher education. Not because the work was easier — it's not — but because I wanted to see what technology could do when the mission is people rather than margin. It's a fundamentally different challenge, and I was drawn to it.

That transition turned out to be a real strength. Finance gave me rigour, risk discipline, and an understanding of what it means to operate where every decision counts. Education gave me empathy, a long-term mindset, and a reminder that technology only matters when it genuinely serves the people using it.

At the end of the day, I believe in one thing: technology should work for people, not the other way around. No jargon, no unnecessary complexity — just solutions that are secure, robust, and make sense.
