I didn't take a straight path — and honestly, that's what gives me a different perspective.
I came to Switzerland as a student at EPFL, where I first discovered the power of combining engineering rigour with real-world problem solving. After graduating, I started my career in the private sector, designing secure and compliant IT infrastructure for financial institutions — environments where precision, governance, and trust are non-negotiable.
After more than a decade in finance, I made the shift into public higher education, stepping into technology leadership. It's a completely different context: the goal is no longer just to deliver systems, but to create IT solutions that genuinely support how future educators learn, collaborate, and work. In this world, accessibility and impact matter more than margins.
For me, moving from finance to education wasn't a detour — it became a real strength. Finance taught me rigour, risk management, leadership and how much every decision counts when compliance is at stake. Education taught me empathy, inclusivity, and how powerful technology can be when it is designed to truly serve people.
At the end of the day, I believe in one thing: technology should work for people, not the other way around. No jargon, no unnecessary complexity — just solutions that are secure, robust, and make sense.
